What is it?
FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Programs) is the FDA program requiring food importers to the United States to verify that their foreign suppliers produce under standards equivalent to FSMA.
We support importers and brokers in designing, documenting, and implementing custom FSMA 204 programs, integrating frameworks and tools such as Tracegrains, USDA NOP Organic, and Food Chain for traceability, organic compliance, and supply-chain verification.
What it's for
- Comply with the FDA's FSVP rule to import food into the United States.
- Verify that foreign suppliers meet FSMA-equivalent standards.
- Reduce the risk of shipments being held at customs.
- Document due diligence on food safety hazards.
