What is it?

FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) is a food safety certification scheme based on ISO 22000 (management system) combined with ISO/TS 22002 (sector-specific prerequisite programs). Managed by the FSSC Foundation, it is recognized by GFSI and chosen by multinationals for its alignment with ISO high-level structure. Version 6 (2023) strengthens risk management, food safety culture, and emergency management requirements.
